The 23 year old, who recently opened for Beyonce, is from Barbados and reportedly good friends with Rihanna. She was recently signed to Universal Motown Records.

Rihanna will tesitify in Court Today and Possible Keri Hilson and Chrish Brown Collabo

The media will not be allowed to enter the courtroom when singer Rihanna testifies against R&B star Chris Brown today. The preliminary hearing will be closed to the public when the celebrities turn out for the trial in Los Angeles Superior Court. The case revolves around Brown’s felony charges of assault after an alleged domestic abuse incident involving Rihanna in February. Brown’s attorney initially tried to postpone the hearing hoping to gather more information before the trial went ahead. A judge denied the request last week. Twenty-year-old Brown pleaded not guilty to felony charges of assault and making criminal threats. Shortly after the February 8th incident, a photo of a bruised and battered reported to be Rihanna surfaced on the Internet. Brown’s attorney had hoped to delay today’s hearing while he found out more about who leaked the picture.



R&B songstress Keri Hilson is sparking rumors of an upcoming Chris Brown music collaboration. Keri said singer Brown contacted her early last week to ask for her help from inside the studio. Hilson says if she does decide to work with Brown, it will be her first project as a songwriter in quite some time. The two have worked together before. They recorded the duet “Superhuman” and Hilson wrote a song for Brown’s debut album. All music aside, Hilson calls the alleged beating scandal between Brown and Barbados-born singer Rihanna “unfortunate.” She went on to say that, despite Brown being charged with felony assault against Rihanna, quote, “If you’ve ever had a fan base, you’re really only one song away from appeasing that fan base.”

Chris Brown keeps Stalling in Domestic Abuse Court Case

Is Chris Brown scared that the truth will come out in court? Sorry Chris you can try to postpone the court date all you want, the truth will come out and you won’t look like the nice R&B superstar that everyone thought you were?

Chris Brown’s lawyer keeps insisting on more time.

Defense attorney Mark Geragos on Tuesday petitioned the California Supreme Court to postpone his client’s upcoming preliminary hearing on assault charges until after a judge has ruled whether the defense can have access to the LAPD’s records of its investigation into the Rihanna photo leak.

The state appeals court denied the same request last week.

Rihanna has been subpoeaned to testify at the June 22 hearing and her attorney, Donald Etra, says she’s planning to comply with the prosecution’s wishes.

Brown is accused of hitting and threatening the 21-year-old singer after a pre-Grammy party in February.

Taking the edge off what could be some major awkwardness at their legal-themed reunion, both Rihanna and Brown were in attendance for game four of the NBA Finals in Orlando last Thursday. Not sitting together, but still.

Cocktail Talks about Ray J and Season two of his Show

To follow up on the For The Love Of Ray J Casting Post, your girl Cocktail reached out to the folks over at Bossip to give them the low down on Ray J. Read below for what Cocktail had to say.

Just like any other relationship we took it day by day. We would hang out, have fun, laugh, share stories, and watch TV. Over time as we got to know each other more and more he would tell me things and often times they would hurt my feelings. I guess the brutal truth about him not being exclusive with me and still “hooking up” with girls made me realize that it wasn’t going to work. I hate feeling like I failed and let’s be real no woman likes to quit a relationship so I tried to stick it out. I wanted to be his only one not just his number one.

After awhile Ray eventually realized that I was truly genuine and sat me down to tell me that we were not going to work out. Then the Season 2 bomb was dropped on me. What makes me mad is that I asked him if there was going to be a season 2 and he lied to my face. He sweet talked me both times I asked. Aside from that, the breaking point was when we went on tour. He didn’t come back to the room at night and I heard the whispers about him being in other rooms with girls. It made me mad because he knew he could be honest with me but he chose not to be. At this point, I emotionally checked out.
