Nas And Kelis getting a Divorce!

Oh no, famed hip-hop couple Nas and Kelis are getting a divorce says Vibe Magazine. Kelis who is currently 7 months pregnant with the couple's first child filed for divorce on April 30, 2009. Check the article below.

One of hip hop’s most talked about married couples have split. VIBE has confirmed that Nas and Kelis are headed for a divorce. “I can confirm that she has filed for divorce,” a spokesperson for Kelis told VIBE. “We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time.” At around 3:45pm PST, high-powered attorney Laura Wasser (who has also represented Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, and Stevie Wonder) filed a divorce petition today on behalf of Kelis, citing irreconciable differences. The bombshell comes amid recent reports that the acclaimed rhymer and influential R&B vixen were expecting their first child together—a son. Kelis is currently seven months pregnant.

It was only last February when Nas spoke excitedly to MTV about the prospect of having a baby with Kelis. “Yeah, man, I find out what it's gonna be next week, so I'm happy," said the multiplatinum rapper, who also has a 15-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

Check out this collaborative effort between Nike and Nylon Magazine. The Dunk Hi Pack consists of five fluorescent colorways of the Dunk Hi, all featuring a nylon/leather upper, coming in tonal colors. The Nylon font logo goes over the entire sneaker, but one has to look close to even notice it. The Swoosh and other details come in leather and the laces, as well as lining also match the upper colors. A multicolor Nylon logo has been placed on the tongue tag. Finale Rundown "Making the Band 4"

All the hype and anticipation for the finale of "Making The Band 4" and the status Danity Kane, and Diddy actually called that a finale. I would love to take that hour of my life back. Here is the hour wrapped up. All the chicks from Danity Kane are still fired from Danity Kane and “let out of their contracts”. Even Dawn (I couldn't get paste the terrible mom haircut). However, Dawn confirmed last night on the show that she has a solo deal with Bad Boy ( How do you resell your soul, when you get a free pass?) and is also working with with some new group on Diddy's upcoming "Last Train to Paris"album.

Aundrea was M.I.A for the reunion. The question arose, why did Danity Kane split? D. Woods and Aubrey tried to explain with words, but the continuous side eyes aimed at Dawn coupled with their body language and vagueness pretty much blamed it on Dawn and her solo deal. It’s pretty obvious these chicks don’t all get along anymore. Shannon is working on a new website and eluded to doing a country album. Basically, that was the whole show there were a few pitchy performances from Day 26 and shameless plugs from Diddy promoting his Twitter page. Other than that the finale was a complete waste of an hour. Shame on you Diddy, this was your biggest finale blunder in "Making the Band" history. SAY WORD!

Relationships are difficult whether its family,friends, or a more intimate relationship. I'm a gluton for punishment and i always stay in a relationship because i justify the hurt inflicted by these people with an excuse for their behavior. My question is when is it time to move on, and how do I?

Seems like your suffering from a disease called, "LIFE". Sad but true. If you are living and breathing, its a beautiful thing. But if you are living and breathing on the account for someone else!.....than that is when it is time to move on. We all shouldn't be proud enough to say, "To thine own self be true." Love yourself first dammit! Only than can you give urself to others unconditionally. In ur case, you seem like you are a people pleaser...and this is why you hold on to relationships whether they are good or bad. In a sense its not a bad thing, but if you think about it...is it really a good thing? Think of your self worth and if staying in any type of relationship that doesn't support or benefit you equally is even WORTH the trouble! Stay true boo!

Louis Vuitton has stepped their technical game up with the company’s new watch collection. The collections is created completely in-house, from conception to completion at its La Chaux de Fonds factory in Switzerland. Tambour Mystérieuse is the most high-end timepiece from the new collection. The watch has a round dial and is composed of a mechanism that is encapsulated by two sapphire crystal discs, allowing the watch itself to float within the bezel framing it (THIS WATCH IS REAL SERIOUS!). The collections offers a wide array of customizations including monogramming the second hand with the wearer’s initials, selecting gemstones to place on the platinum, white, yellow or red gold case and a choice of leather straps. I sat down with the founder of Turnthebeatup.com Distha MF Baesik for a brief interview about his site.

Sayword: Distha MF Baesik what do you do for a living?

Distha MF Baesik: I Dj for local clubs in Tampa, Florida and Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Sayword: What was the inspiration for your site?

Distha MF Baesik: Well, i had a music collection so large that i started storing files online to save pc ram. I started to notice that my passion was enough to establish a website. I started Turnthebeatup.com to keep readers up to date on hip-hop, related music releases, and the sources.

Sayword: How does your site work?

Distha MF Baesik: Currently the site is a members only blog with a forum and chat. The members can post topics under their author name and in addition members of Turnthebeatup.com can add new members to join.

Sayword: So What is your goal for Turnthebeatup.com?

Distha MF Baesik: I want Turnthebeatup.com to be like the industry, you need to build a relationship with members in order to be apart of the network.

Sayword: What kind of topics do the members of Turnthebeatup.com post?

Distha MF Baesik: The topics are not limited and users can post any information as long as its current.

Sayword: What direction do you think Turnthebeatup.com is heading in.

Distha MF Baesik: The sites direction is headed to be the host for audio files for other websites and allow an individual to create their own play list for their website.

You will see the same on the tongue, these are the business and are a must have.

Danity Kane Officially Over!

Diddy released all the members of Danity Kane except Dawn on Thursday night’s part one episode of making the band. The crazy part is Dawn acted all devastated about it (um you just scored a solo deal chick, why are you sad again?). I guess all those rumors of her becoming a solo artist was true.Diddy the destroyer of careers will exploit all five Danity Kane members one last time on the special finale show.
