THROWBACK OR COMEBACK NIKE CORTEZ!

Back in 1972, most running shoes were made out of leather or some other bulky material that slowed fast folks down. Nike founder Bill Bowerman changed all that with the Cortez. He experimented with a nylon-based upper, which significantly decreased the weight of the shoe. The Cortez revolutionized the look and feel or running forever. That’s why we keep it around.
