Star Trek had a fantastic opening weekend bringing in $76.5 million. Star Trek took in $72.5 mil from Friday through Sunday, on top of $4 mil in midnight-Thursday receipts. This movie is a must see, i was throughly entertained the whole time. Do not be concerned if your not a trekkie(super Star Trek fan) and you haven't followed Star Trek your whole life, because I'm not, the story was easy to follow and understand. This has been a great start for the summer box office i hope great movies like Star Trek continue to release. Say Word!
