The newest addition to the Marvel Comics Movie franchise X-Men Origins: Wolverine did very well at the box office it's opening weekend. The highly-anticipated X-Men Origins: Wolverine opened at No. 1 at North American theatres, earning $87 million over the weekend. As reported in other media, the film took in $35 mil on Friday alone.The film also opened well internationally, debuting in a massive 101 territories, garnering $73 million. Its worldwide cume stands at $160 million. This is a huge surprise, because a version of the movie that wasn't completely edited that was missing some animation sequences was released on the Internet about a month ago and downloaded by every one and their mamas. Looks like loyal X-Men fans wanted to see the Final Version of the film in all it's glory. SAY WORD!
