Benta Berry Cleansing Gel Face Wash Review
This review is on the Benta Berry Cleansing Gel Face Wash For Men. I was first introduced to this brand through BirchBox Man. Now for those who are not familiar with BirchBox it is a monthly subscription service that features luxury sized samples of men's grooming products such as body wash, shaving products, shampoo etc. also the box typically features lifestyle extras like food, headphones, playing cards and other misc. items. Birchbox costs $20 a month and you are able to cancel at any time, I will do a longer post about Birchbox when my next box arrives in a few days. I received a sample of the Benta Berry moisturizing face cream in my last BirchBox and I used the sample and liked that the product didn't make my skin feel greasy since I already have oily skin. I decided to look into the Birchbox store(I will talk more about this in an upcoming post) to see what other products they had from this brand and place a order. I purchased the Benta Berry Cleansing Face Wash for $10 just to see if I liked something else from the brand before I decided to purchase multiple items.
One thing to know is that this face wash is only 30 Milliliters (My thought was this better be some damn good face wash) so I was hoping that I only needed a small amount to wash my entire face. A little background on my skin, I have oily skin and my skin is not sensitive, which allows me to try different products without breaking out. I used the Benta Berry Face Wash the first night by itself so I took a pea sized amount and ran that over an already damp face and rubbed it in. This wash doesn't lather really well so If you need that as assurance that your face is getting clean you probably wont like this product. The lather didn't bother me since one of my favorite face washes from The Body Shop the Passion Fruit Gel Face Wash doesn't lather well either. The initial thoughts were that the face wash was average the smell wasn't overpowering and my face didn't feel any different then how it feels with my other face washes. The next night I used it with my Clarisonic which made all the difference my face was left feeling squeaky clean. The face wash is described as a cocktail of pineapple, mango, and lime extracts (sounds like it could use a shot of rum, no?) that expertly sloughs away dirt and sebum. Nourishing coconut oil keeps skin feeling soft after you clean. I must say this Face Wash is a winner especially when used with a Clarisonic. Do not ask me why I had to give my life story in order to tell you the Benta Berry Cleaning Gel Face Wash is good. I rate this product a 4 out of 5 Stars ( I had to deduct a point because its only 30 ML for $10 dollars which is real LAME).
