September BirchBox Man Review

Today is a review on the September Birchbox Man Box. Now if you take a look at my August BirchBox Man box review you will see that I wasn't that impressed by last month's box. This box was a little better but it wasn't by no means fantastic.

1. Zirh Clean Face Wash
The first product in the box was this very small sample of the Zirh Clean Face Wash. This face wash features a citrusy smell and contains alpha-hydroxy acids that clear away dead skin and dirt. I received a sample of another Zirh product in a previous box that I was not a fan off because it broke me out and I do not have sensitive skin. So I was a little hesitant to try another Zirh product. Surprisingly I like this face wash, it left my skin felling slick and clean and the scent is very fresh. A full size costs $15 for 4.2 FL oz. and the sample is 0.23 FL oz. which makes the value around .80 cents. Why doesn't Birchbox send bigger samples since we do pay twice as much for our box then the Women pay for theres.

2.AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream

Next thing in my box was the AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream, I was excited to see this in my box because I wash my hands alot and sometimes they can get dry. I only have tried the Body Shop Hemp Hand Cream so I don't have many examples to compare this too. With that said I like that its not greasy and my hands feel moisturized when I use it. The full size is 3.4 Fl oz for $21.00 and the sample is 0.68 Fl oz which gives it a value of about $4.20

3. PopChips Tortilla Chips
Um they are chips and I'm quite irritated that this was considered one or our items. That is all. Value=Who Cares

4. Baila Powder

I was probably most excited to receive the Baila Powder in this Month's Box. Baila Powder is a powder designed to absorb sweat and odor in the *Cough* private places, but can also be used under your arms, in shoes etc. I don't really have a sweating problem, but I'm still excited to try this one out nonetheless. I'll probably throw this in my backpack (I am a college student) and use it if I ever need it. The full size is 100 g for $15 and the sample is 10.3 g which gives it a value of around $1.50

5. Field Notes Mixed 3 Pack with Click Pens

To say I was disappointed in the Lifestyle product in the September BirchBox Man Box is an understatement. This three-pack includes one graph, one ruled, and one plain paper book, each 48 pages and bound with cardstock. The front covers include a space for your name and contact information, and the back covers are printed with a five-inch ruler. The pack comes with two cheap click pens and the price for said Field Notes is $11.50

All in all this Month's Box was lackluster the total value was around $18-$19 which is less than the $20 fee for the box. I am disappointed but I will try one more month and make my decision whether to cancel or not. The Baila Powder and the AHAVA hand cream are the most exciting things in the box.
