Jack Black Pure Clean Daily Cleanser Review
This is a review on the Jack Black Pure Clean Cleanser. The two in one cleanser features a cleanser as well as a toner to remove oil and dirt and keep the skin fresh and clean. First I have to say I really like Jack Black products mainly because of lot of them are free of the "Bad Stuff" sulfates, parabens, alcohol you know all the junk that drys you out and makes you look like you have crocodile skin. When I judge a character I use the following criteria; how it feels, how it works, how much it costs, and is it easily accessible.
First off the product feels very nice the consistency is not too think or runny and there isn't much of a fragrance (Why do most men's cleansers smell like old people and wood chips?). I use the cleanser with my clarisonic at night and just with my hands in the morning. Jack Black Pure Clean Cleanser leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean which is what I prefer, I hate cleansers that leave the "moisturizing" residue that just makes my already oily skin feel greasy.
The cleanser works really well, as previously mentioned I have oily skin and the Jack Black Pure Clean Cleanser really removes all the dirt, grime, and oil from my face (this sounds really dramatic like I work in a coal mine or something). It gets the job done.
Jack Black Pure Clean Cleanser costs $18 for a 6oz bottle and also comes in the huge 16oz for $32. The price is not too steep and you only need a small amount to wash your whole face so I think the value is worth the price. Compared to the Body Shop's Maca Root line of products for men (which I use and like a lot) the cost is about the same.
Where can you find the Jack Black line of products? Sephora, Ulta, the Jack Black website for sure and probably a lot of other places, which means the product is not hard to find which gives it bonus points. All in all I really like the cleanser and the Jack Black line of products in general (you know this means more Jack Black product reviews). I give this one a 4.5 out of 5, its really good but I'm not willing to do a back flip so I can't give it a 5.
